Job Description:

The Business & Information Services team covers 20 stocks across the data & information and core business services outsourcing spaces. Business models are above average, with high recurring revenue, profitability, and cash flow generation, and strong growth potential. The team is looking to expand its coverage in 2021, and is active in capital markets transactions. The diversity of coverage provides significant learning opportunities (different business models, end-markets) in a sector with strong investor interest. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience in markets or related industries.This candidate will works with both the Senior Analyst and team members in all aspects from idea generation to company meetings, and will play a critical part of financial modeling, qualitative analysis, and executing written investment opinions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform complex financial modeling & valuation work
  • Write regular industry and company reports and company launch initiations from scratch
  • Develop databases integral to our research product
  • Demonstrate strong industry knowledge and business judgment
  • Work with Senior Analysts to develop key industry themes
  • Build relationships and facilitate information flow with contacts at covered companies
  • Participate and contribute to client meetings and events
  • Attend meetings and interact with key opinion leaders
  • Closely follow and understand market, industry and company specific activity
  • Seek out new, unusual sources of information
  • Interact regularly with clients

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2 years min experience focusing in equity research, wholesale credit, buy side experience or investment banking experience
  • Strong writing and modeling skills. Must be an expert at MS Word and MS Excel
  • Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced and intense environment.
  • Must have excellent communications skills, written and verbal
  • Must enjoy following the stock market and doing desktop and field research
  • Along with Finance and Accounting, should have basic understanding of economics, macroeconomic factors, international affairs, and policy/politics
  • Must have strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task
  • Must work well in a collaborative team environment
