Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Technology Solution Lead, Pharma Data Solutions, which can be based out of Somerville, NJ or Raritan, NJ.

As a Technology Solutions Lead (TSL) you are accountable for the development of solutions for a specific sector and value stream. Our team works in partnership with Product Owners as well as Solution and data Engineering teams to handle risks in the backlog and supervise and control the timeliness and quality of work. We craft and deliver innovative solutions for our business. We also serve as advocates for Scaled Agile methodologies, processes and frameworks.

This role works with the Manager, Technology Solutions Engagement and leads all aspects of the creation of teams of Technology Services resources to execute against business value stream roadmaps and key programs designed to deliver shared business outcomes.

The Technology Solution Lead will execute the role of the SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE) or Solution Train Engineer (STE) where applicable to:

• Optimize flow and communications across iterations and Product Increment (PI) releases.
• Periodic synchronization across Release Trains & Solution Trains, with Inspect & Adapt workshops.
• Assist with economic decision making by facilitating feature and capability estimation.
• Resolve blocks or impediments.
• Facilitate System Demos and Solution Demos.
• Driving Scaled Agile delivery, working with Product Owners, Solution and Data Engineers.
• Domain specialist in data platform solutions offered throughout Johnson & Johnson Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Lead architecture and design efforts that is scalable to the region, sector, and franchise level.
• Look for innovative solutions in the market to address potentially unmet business needs.
• Ensure that the business and technical solution architecture is complete and fit-for-purpose in terms of its ability to address partner requirements, including schedules and budgets.
• Ensure that security and technical architecture is in line with the overall business strategy.
• Coordinate the delivery of projects as well as ongoing operation of cohesive, coordinated solutions with full JJT engagement.
• Accountable for moving of code through environments and into production (e.g. release process) using appropriate change control and risk management processes.
• Work across multiple value streams, Architecture, Product Lines and Technology service groups to define and deliver innovation solutions.
• Act as a single point of contact for communication with various supporting teams like Information security, risk management, quality and control systems as well as enterprise platform owners.
• Align with partners and development teams on product goals and engage business throughout the development process by building and maintaining strong partnerships with business, Business Technology Leaders, & other Product Line Owners.
• Works across multiple business technology and product line groups to shape business needs and define & deliver innovative solutions.
• Apply Rapid Value Realization (RVR) for new technology solutions & work with Product Owners to ensure the development of a product vision, roadmap and backlog.

Lead all aspects of delivery of business technology changes, including delivering cohesive and coordinated solutions.

• Conceive of and support the design of projects that may require integration across multiple technical platforms.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; focus in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or related field is preferred.
• A minimum of 6 years of professional experience is required.
• Some combination of the following core skills is required: Amazon AWS, Python, PySpark, QlikSense and Tableau.
• Some combination of the following additional skills is required: APIs, Integrations, Docker/Kubernetes, Data Warehouses, ETL Processes, Data Virtualization, Dataiku, Data Catalogs, Master Data Management and Data Lakes.
• Current knowledge of industry and business process trends and ability to apply knowledge to existing business processes is required.
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture and development methodologies is required.
• Broad understanding of current capabilities and limitations of existing systems is required.
• Knowledge of IT functions and services with deep technical expertise in multiple areas is required.
• Ability to manage large vendor resource teams, many of whom are likely to be offshore or nearshore, as part of agile delivery is required.
• This position can be based out of Somerville, NJ or Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% travel.
